CEC - Council for Exceptional Children Service Organization - Grades 9 - 12

The overall purpose of the CEC club is to promote future leaders in the education of children and youth with exceptionalities.  Students in the club become involved in the lives of mentally and physically challenged students at South Fork.  We do extracurricular activities and volunteer to better the lives of the exceptional children.  The activities are a great way to have fun, gain volunteer hours, and make new friends.  We do many things such as horseback riding, picnics and talent shows.  Members of the club are encouraged to inform their peers about disabilities and hopefully gain more people.  We also plan a disability awareness week.
