Junior Class of 2010 - Service Organization - Grade

Each class at SFHS has its own conventional roles
in providing students service and fun to cherish long after they depart
form high school. Each participating student is actively involved
in projects such as charities, contests, dances, Homecoming, trips and
new found traditions that make each class at SFHS a memorable one.

Important Dates for 2008-2009 School Year
HOMECOMING:
Because Homecoming comes so early in the school year we
need a lot of help with preparations and construction of
a float. A Homecoming Committee will be assembled by May 29th,
2008 in order to meet over the summer and get things started! If you
are interested in helping with the float or parade, please contact
Mrs. Warren in room T4 or
warrenj@martin.k12.fl.us. I am looking for about twenty students
and five parent volunteers to help with this exciting project. Any
supply donations, such as wood, paint supplies, trailer, and tools
are greatly appreciated. The committee must be present at summer
meetings, all float building activitiesand the parade in order to
participate.

CLASH OF THE
CLASSES:
This year the Clash of the
Classes will be the responsibility of the junior class. The annual
event is a school wide Pep-Rally held in the gym. It will take place
on Thursday during Homecoming week. Each class will choose
representatives to compete in various tasks developed by committee.
I am looking for twenty students interested in developing, setting
up, running, and cleaning up the event. If you are energetic,
outgoing, and creative please contact Mrs. Warren in room T4 or
warrenj@martin.k12.fl.us to sign up.

POWDER PUFF:
It is tradition at South Fork High School for the Junior
and Senior class to participate in the Powder Puff competition. We
will need
dedicated and energetic students of
the Class of 2010 to compile a girls football team and a boys
dance/cheerleading team. This is a THREE MONTH long commitment with
mandatory regularly scheduled practices. There will also be a
financial obligation requiredto participate. I am looking for parent
volunteers interested in helping coach both the girls’ football team
and boys’ dance team.

The Junior class is responsible for the Prom. We will need a
dedicated committee to develop ideas and create the ultimate prom
experience for our senior class.
