Dear Parents, Students, and Web Visitors,
I welcome you to our web site with a happy heart!
We are an A+ school!
For years, our students, teachers, administration and staff have worked
tirelessly to attain an A. Last year proved the adage, “Hard work pays
off,” when our school received the grade of A from the state of Florida
for the first time in its history.
This achievement was due to the effort and team work of teachers and
students. Together, with our support staff and administration, this
winning team brought a sharp focus to academics, and our students have
succeeded on all fronts. I couldn’t be more proud.
We at South Fork share the philosophy that we can not rest on our
current achievements. This year we are planning and working to meet or
exceed our scores of last year on the FCAT, ACT, SAT, AP and IB tests.
Key to this effort will be regular attendance at school. We can’t teach
students and help them succeed if they are not here. If you are a
student or parent, please keep this in mind every morning.
Our main focus is academics, but we also celebrate our students’ efforts
in sports, extracurricular activities and volunteer organizations. Check
out this website for the many opportunities, and look around the campus
or the community and you will see a South Fork Bulldog involved in the
arts, sports, special interest clubs and service clubs. We’re
everywhere!
There is one more thing you should know: You can’t stop a South Fork
Bulldog! We’re on our way to new heights! Come along for the ride!
