DRESS CODE
 

The dress or grooming of a student cannot be disruptive to the classroom atmosphere or educational process of a school. All dress and grooming must conform to rules of health and safety. SFHS follows District Dress Codes and additional guidelines. Dress code is in effect while on school board property and at school events.

GUIDELINES:

All shirts must have sleeves, a collar or crew neck.

Shirts may not allow cleavage to be seen. 
(NECKLINE NO LOWER THAN COLLARBONE - NO MID-RIFF SHOWING)

Shirts must be tucked in or up to 3-5 inches below the waist
(SHIRT HEM NO LONGER THAN WRIST LEVEL).

Leggings must be covered with a dress code item. (i.e. shorts, skirts, etc.)

Skirts, skorts, divided skirts, and dresses may be no shorter than 2 inches above the top of the knee.

Shorts must be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee.

Pants, jeans and slacks must be worn to the top of the hipbone or higher.

Pants must be secured and fastened at the hip, must not be baggy or oversized and the hem of the pant leg must not drag on the ground.

No clothing which has tears or holes will be permitted.
