The Academy of Finance prepares students for employment in the financial industry.  Students learn data entry, fundamental principles and procedures of accounting (such as depreciation, inventory, payroll, and reconciling bank statements), budgets, credit, financial markets, insurance, and international trade.

Seacoast National Bank has partnered with South Fork High School to provide students with a unique opportunity to operate Bulldog Bank, a school-based enterprise.  Students enrolled in the Academy function as tellers, officers, and administrators, while account holders earn 5.12% interest.

An articulation agreement with Indian River Community College earns the student college credit upon completion of various courses offered in the Academy of Finance .
