ToK-

Read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Be ready to write an essay the first day of school.  Come with a list of 10 ideas that interest you from the book, with annotations, e.g.  1.  Ghosts, pg. 28—do ghosts exist, if they are only in the mind, what is NOT only in the mind? Can they be said to exist for Native Americans but not for the rest of us?

Biology III-

Lab Write up.  Specific Tasks to be Completed: Students need to conduct an individual experiment dealing with Plant growth.  Students will conduct research based on the topic approved at the end of the Biology II.  Then they will do a complete write up.  This will count as an IA grade and is due the first day of school.  I suggest you conduct the experiment as soon as school ends; it may take over a month to collect the data.  Any questions that arise may be emailed to me at hallpm@mac.com

However, do not wait till the night before school starts and expect a reply in time.  Also students should check the web site for notes that they will need the first day of school.  I will also be posting responses to frequently asked questions as they arise.  http://homepage.mac.com/hallpm
