Assignment: - -The momentum of an object is the product of its mass and velocity.

-The change in momentum of an object is equal to the impulse that acts on it.

-Impulse is the product of the average force and the time interval over which the force acts.

-Newton's third law is another statement of the law of conservation of momentum.

-The law of conservation of momentum states: In a closed, isloated system, the total momentum of the system does not change.

-The momentum of a system changes when it is not isolated, that is, when a net external force acts on it.
